A keystone member of the Dwell in Austin Team, Brutus is a rescue adopted by the Mosrie family from Short Mugs Rescue Squad, an amazing non-profit ‘dedicated to the health and well-being of French Bulldogs’, rescuing Frenchies, as well as other brachycephalic breeds, across the entire state of Texas.
Brutus has a long history of accomplishments, including proudly participating in the Mystic Krewe of Barkus in New Orleans, a venerated Mardi Gras parade where Brutus and a gaggle of fellow costumed canines marched proudly through the French Quarter.
As a ‘Frug’ (a Frenchie / Pug mix), he is not terribly fond of ‘full size’ dogs, but will always sidle up to his smush face allies, such as pugs, boston terriers and Frenchies.
Brutus lives with his adopted family and, begrudgingly, with three annoying cats, Max, Lynx and Baby.
